Background: Chronic neuropathic pain after spinal cord injury is a complex condition affecting the person's mental, physical, social and existential well-being. A good response from the health and medical service is important for persons concerned with understanding their situation and being able to adapt to a life of pain. Aim: The purpose was to describe the experience of living with chronic neuropathic pain after spinal cord injury. Method: A literature review with inductive approach was conducted.
